Voice-Over: Narration is used in a film trailer to set the story line of a film, or to bring in the viewer to watch the film trailer. Voice-Over is a useful tool to enhance the audiences understanding of what is happening in the film, this could also be used to let the audience know when the film is going to be released, and what big actors are going to be in the film.
Music: Different music is used for different film genres. Usually music that is used is not composed for the actual film, it is normally instrumentals from chart songs as part of promotion. But specially composed music may be used, for example James Bond.
Technical Elements: Video resolution, the film trailers are normally presented in the same format as what the film has been made in, film trailers that are released on the internet such as YouTube are distributed at any resolution up to 1080p from 240p.
